Introduction of Micro Switch

A micro switch is a common electronic component. It consists of three parts: a contact part, an operating part and a cover part. It is to control the circuit switch by manual. Owing to its simple structure, easy installation and use, high reliability and other characteristics, micro switch is commonly applied in various electrical equipments.

The structure of the micro switch

The opening point, closing point and common point that must be in a switch are inevitable, and the components that rotate the switch, such as buttons, levers, springboards, brackets, electrical contacts, reeds, etc., are also necessary in the structure of the micro switch.

How Micro switches Work

Micro switches are used to control the circuit switching by operation. When the micro switch comes in closed state, a closed circuit will be made between the static and dynamic contacts and the current can flow out through the microswitch. When the microswitch comes in the open state, a circuit will be broken between the static and dynamic contacts and the current will be cut off.

The principle of micro witch

In the micro switch, its rotating elements have buttons, push pins, rollers and levers, etc., as long as the external mechanical force, through the rotation of the elements, the force acted on the spring sheet, when the reed is shifted to the critical point, resulting in instantaneous action, so that the reed can touch the contact, so as to achieve disconnection and rapid on.
